Luke Profile.jpg

Luke Linardos

Hi I’m Luke,

I have my masters in teaching and have mentored/ guided autistic children for 6 years.

In my spare time I can be found surfing, playing music or straight up cruising.

I grew up in Sydney and had the standard public school experience. Through this journey I struggled greatly with anxiety and OCD. As a vulnerable kid, I needed my teachers to see me and hold me in that, but I didn't receive anything of the sort. I felt unsafe and fearful.

After a wild experience of anxiety in primary school and being bullied in high school, I grew and inquired, I began to understand how to hold myself and what I required; I am ever so grateful for that path, as it led me to an authentic desire to be the present, compassionate teacher/mentor that I never had.

After working with kids through swim teaching, nannying, disability support work and primary school teaching; I have come to understand and see time and time again, how precious and powerful safe mentors are. I am in my dream space at possum patch, as I am with a community of parents and mentors who all share that common ground of mindful conscious guardian-ship.
